EEK!! I can’t believe I leave in 3 days to the largest signing of my life.
Am I prepared. No.
You can try to prepare for an event of this magnitude, but you really have no idea what is going to happen. Will 2,000 people stop at my table or 200? Or 20. It’s nuts. Deciding how many books to bring is even crazier. I will have books, and booze, and candy. The three essentials of every great signing.
I also created a tabletop sign and had it made at Got Print, so I don’t have to haul my big ass sign to Texas. Even though everything is bigger in Texas, I’m going small.
